Black Hillary Backer Denounces Obama

Hillary Clinton supporters who are either leaning toward John McCain or have committed themselves to voting for him are welcome to comment on this site. If you'd rather e-mail me, do so at: TalkTop65@aol.com. Every comment that isn't thoroughly offensive will be published and responded to. Tuesday's column will deal with Jean Avery's various efforts related to Hillary Supporters and other McCain backers. Jean's main blog is: http://moms4mccain.blogspot.com. Jean lives in Seattle, Washington, and is a frequent contributor to http://McCainNow.com, the main McCain site. Jean's a mother and a graduate of Princeton University. She's one of the bulwarks of the huge "Unofficial Campaign" for John McCain.
If you want to comment and didn't graduate from Princeton (also the alma mater of Michelle Obama), then that's fine, because neither did I. God bless all vistors, which is what God does as the nuns informed me so long ago. (By the way, it's okay to disagree with any political candidate, including Sen. Clinton and Sen. McCain, let alone Sen. Obama. After all, this is America, where everybody disagrees with everybody else. Right?)

On my Pennsylvania blog I've received an urgent request from Tom Manion, Republican congressional candidate in PA's 8th district. It deals with an important online poll. Manion, a Marine Corps veteran, lost his son Travis in the Iraq War. Please visit the site for information. http://pennsylvaniaforjohnmccain.blogspot.com/.

Hillary Supporters for John McCain is a larger group than one might imagine. It's critical that John McCain, an authentic American hero, get a good percentage of the votes cast by Black Americans, one of whom weighs in below. (And see also Carla's comment on this piece.)

Bulletin: Today one of the nation's most important conservative columnists, Jack Kelly of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette and Toledo Blade, endorsed Sarah Louise Heath Palin of Alaska for the vice-president slot on John McCain's ticket. Please tell everyone in the blogo-verse! Good for Jack! He calls her McCain's "secret weapon" and a major key to victory. He calls her "a running mate who's got it all." Scroll down to read previous columns discussing Sarah Palin.

The column below is about a growing phenomenon, the backing John McCain is receiving from Hillary Supporters, including a significant number of Black women. On my national blog and on my Pennsylvania blog I'm talking about two powerful women, Sen. Hillary Clinton and Gov. Sarah Palin, both of whom will play an important role in American politics over the next decade-and-a-half. Please visit those sites.

Note to me from Sheridan Folger: Steve, there are currently 6 (that I've noticed) Hillary Women Supporters posting positives about McCain on http://johnmccain.com Thought you might like to go drop them a note regarding your hillary supporter website. Here is an example.

JaniceinNC
Word to the Wise for McCain Fans...

I am a Hillary supporter, I am also a woman, and an African American living in North Carolina. It appears that you just might have a golden opportunity on the horizon. There are at least 10 million Hillary supporters like myself who WILL NOT vote for Obama in November. BHO is the DNC's chosen one - and certainly not the choice of most Hillary supporters. The 10 million like myself are seriously considering voting for John McCain in November - so please welcome us to your website and to your community. I have already seen very negative, sarcastic comments about Hillary posted on the McCain blog. Jokes about pant suits, desparation, "women" jokes, etc. You have a golden opportunity to win us over to McCain because we don't like Obama any more than you do! Obama's people rule the blogosphere and the MSM is "totally in the tank" for him. Hillary supporters are already very upset over the way she has been treated and we don't appreciate the disrespect that has been shown towards her. The Obama people are rude to us, snobby, condescending, and down right mean toward Clinton supporters. We are very protective of her honor and feel that the media has totally rejected fairness and objectivity throughout this campaign. In fact, Fox News has become our favorite network! Since Hillary and Sen. McCain are friends, I hope that our two communities can come together. We know that Sen. Clinton is going to try to support the DNC's decision by the time of the late summer convention, but I PROMISE you that millions of us have made up our minds and we WILL NOT support BHO! Never!!! I believe in freedom of speech - so we are all entitled to our opinions. But please realize that most Hillary supporters are women. Sen. McCain is working for ALL Americans. Therefore, it is not smart for some of his supporters to turn off such a large number of Hillary's people who could be easily won over to the side of Senator McCain. We :"Women for Hillary" truly admire and support Sen. McCain - so I am hoping that McCain supporters will not shut us out or make us feel unwelcome by reading negative words about our #1 choice -who is Sen. Clinton. This may truly be a golden opportunity for you to easily get more than 10 million to vote for McCain in November! Please think about this! God Bless Sen. Clinton, Sen. McCain, and the USA!!!

From Janice in NC...An African American woman in NC who WILL vote for McCain in November if illary is not the Dems Nominee!

Steve says: Janice, if I say "I love you" is that too strong a statement? I'll write more on Sunday about your comments. Keep up the support for John McCain. Obama is not qualified to be President, and he and his "surrogates" spent 18 months trashing Hillary, calling her a liar, a warmonger, and a bigot, none of which she is. Her endorsement of Obama, whom she said lacked the capacity to be President, is the most unfortunate thing she's done. All of us -- Black, White, Asian, or Native American -- must value country over Party. We should like our Party, true, but we should love our nation -- and do what's best for it. God bless Janice. The main purpose of this site is to welcome Hillary Supporters with open arms. I believe most Americans admire the tenacity with which Mrs. Clinton conducted her campaign. The national media was a factor in her not getting the nomination. If she did not endorse Obama, it would have ended her career in government. Alas, it was "politics as usual," something our nation can't afford.

I am a heart broken dem that in shock at how hillary was treated by obama and his cronys, the media that kept obamas secrets until half the country voted, by then he already had the lead. My party has lost my support and Im in limbo. obama will never get my vote, he is a fraud that wonts everyone to beleive he wonts to unite the country, when he surrounds himself with people that hate the U.S. and wont to divide us by race and sex. What obama doesnt see is that frieght train headed toward him. It has about 18,000,000 pissed off votes aboard. See you in november

Carla a, you're always welcome here, and I do understand your feelings on the raw deal that Mrs. Clinton got. I hope you come back and continue to share your thoughts. I disagree with Sen. Clinton on this and that, but I agree she waged a tremendous campaign against a canddiate (Obama) who's not her equal. God bless my friend.

This is really sad. Although I do understand the disapointment and general anger about happenings on the primary campaign trail, I do not understand why women who support Clinton would keep the bathwater and throw out the baby.

Why would women who voted in a Democratic primary vote against their own principles and interest?

At the very least, understand that McCain has pledged to HIS base to appoint "strict constructionist" judges to the Supreme Court. That's code for, "overturn Roe v. Wade. I assume most Democratic women support the ruling, and electing McCain guarantees it's overthrow.

If you really harbor McCain's conservative ideas about healthcare, taxes and war, you should vote for him. If you don't, you shouldn't.

It's that simple.

To all people that fought against Barrack Husein Obama; stop comment and do action if you're truly exist on this planet. otherwise whut up and support him.
Major hint for all of you.
1.At 4th of July he and Hillary shall attended meeting in Washington DC for show off case that there's unity and already being kissed and make up. But the way I had learned from the news especially in Washington Post, she is forced to surrender and there's no way for her to pay off her own debt save only if BHO lend his hand by using his supporter help. To all Hillary supporters that hate this SOB (you know what I meant), buy her back. Here's how to do it; send your money directly to her while she is on stage. Collect the money right now and sleep over night if you had to, his supporter often times tell the Hillary supporter red necks is small and no significant number that could topple him down. Tell her staff that you all wanted to meet her before Obama speak on the stage in order to show support for her. And meet her by showing the banner which said “We love you Hillary”. All of you that BHO said is the rednecks, comes to the DC and joint your forces on the area of the meeting. Each of you or your representative must bring the second banner that said this”but We love our country so much more.” show the banner the moment after she accepted the money.
2.After all of the banner is shown; left the building and show to Mr. BHO your back which said were nobama or Hillary 2012. He shall be get the message and he would become so furious and angry. And the best part of all is if he lost his temper, and make comment do record it and caught it on tape; well atleast his face shall show it. He shall do our campaign rightly. Beside this shall show to the America that no deal for him like he said all over the media which already championing him as the Prez. Since that even is nationwide broadcast; well things going to be getting better and better.
3.In order to succeeded to get inside; you got to drop your allegiance; for example some of you that comes from PUMA; don't wear any t-shirt that reveal you're come from the PUMA.eg, instead show to all the member is the banner that written on your left hand is “We love Hillary” or any other code name so none of you could be indentified as nobama groups before the mission is accomplished.
Here’s another hint. Don’t be afraid of google censorship over anti obama; instead do this tricks that even google couldn’t handle:
1.Put the blogs or whatever as far away as you can from the Google base first.
2.Writing with the wordpress blog seems like a great idea but you could use google service against google rule it self, use the addurl, addme.com, Dmoz.org or whatever; the key us your URL is enlisted in the google. If goolge denies it, then google truly taking side, therefore we could sue google on behalf of our first amendment.
3.The contains must not swearing, cursed or anger writings instead all of you truly work on his weaknesses and his hidden secret; for example his nationality for if not his Kenyan then must be Indonesian. For I know very long from my best friend (obama step father clan owed him his people blood during anti Chinese riots back in May 1998) that none of foreigner could study in public school in Indonesia unless he already becoming Indonesian citizen. The other thing’s is if the husband come from Indonesian then automatically the child although had no blood tied but already accepted and adopted by the step father is an Indonesian so did for his wife if I could recalled it correctly and not vice versa. And this nation had not acknowledge until recently about 2 citizenship therefore if you become Indonesian then you must drop the other nationality. And here’s the best part; no retroactive in Indonesian basic rule unless all of the people forced the senate to do so. You got the picture now?
4.Don’t get mad, just get even. Didn’t this thing ever ring on your ear before. What is the best thing could ever happen unless we see him doom in this presidential race. He got to paid all of his debt if he losing this race. Lost the battle for us now is OK, but we must win this war.

Listen WOMEN! Below is a list of McCain's Top Seven Sexist Rants! We must reconsider supporting McCain!

Please Just Read (it's well cited)

Former Rep. Pat Schroeder, a Colorado Democrat who became well-known and respected for her championing of women's rights during the 1970s and 80s, told the LA Times recently, "He has always had trouble dealing with women as equals." Based on the following collection of McCain incidents- from rape jokes to derogatory slurs- she just might be right.

Calling His Wife a C*nt - In his new book, The Real McCain, Cliff Schecter, a journalist and frequent contributor at the Huffington Post related perhaps the most disturbing of McCain's many well-publicized tirades. During his 1992 reelection bid, the Senator was joined on the campaign trail by his wife, Cindy, his aides, and three journalists who spoke to Schecter on condition of anonymity, but independently confirmed each other's accounts of the incident. Cindy McCain playfully ran her fingers through the Senator's hair and teased, "You're getting a little thin up there." McCain reddened and fired back, "At least I don't plaster on the makeup like a trollup, you cunt." After he'd cooled down, McCain apologized, saying he'd had a long day.

Calling a Young Girl Ugly and Disparaging the Attorney General - In 1998, McCain was speaking before a GOP fundraiser in Washington, D.C. when he asked, "Why is Chelsea Clinton so ugly? Because Janet Reno is her father." The joke was ill-received on many levels- for its offense to the Attorney General, for its offense to the president and his wife. But most of all, for its attack on an eighteen year old girl.

Anyone who has a daughter can tell you that those middle teenage years can be tough. Girls at school can be vicious as it is. But when a national figure makes a predatory attack on a defenseless girl to further his own political causes, it's downright disgusting.

Delegation of Female Air Force Pilots - Former editor of the Arizona Republic, Pat Murphy, wrote a detailed editorial that was carried by a number of different papers in December of 1999. Murphy pointed to an incident in which a delegation interested in expanding opportunities for female pilots visited McCain at his Senate office back in 1991. McCain greeted them by calling them "honey," and "sweetie," and then proceeded to disparage them, calling them "a bunch of Pat Schroeders."

Comparing a US Ally to an Ugly Woman - In an interview with Fox News, McCain aimed his ill-fated humor at our allies, the French. "You know," he began, "the French remind me a little bit of an aging actress of the 1940s who is still trying to dine out on her looks but doesn't have the face for it." This is a country that is heavily involved in the Afghan conflict- in particular, they're training Afghan soldiers to reduce the burden on the US military. McCain's questionable comments raised some a measured ruckus in both foreign and domestic circles, calling the Senator's diplomatic skills into question. But additionally, it was a comment that both objectified and demeaned women, clearly devaluing women by insulting those who don't "have the face," according to McCain's standards. By the way, let's be honest...John McCain isn't exactly an Adonis.

Rape Joke - Back in 1986, The Tuscon Citizen reported that McCain, running for his first term in the Senate, thought he'd try out some new material. Speaking before the National League of Cities and Towns in Washington, D.C. McCain cracked, "Did you hear the one about the woman who is attacked on the street by a gorilla, beaten senseless, raped repeatedly and left to die? When she finally regains consciousness and tries to speak, her doctor leans over to hear her sigh contently and to feebly ask, ‘Where is that marvelous ape?'"

That's not all. In 1990, one of McCain's top fundraisers, former Texas GOP Gubernatorial candidate Clayton Williams made a rape joke of his own. Likening the experience of being raped to bad weather, he said, "as long as it's inevitable, you might as well lie back and enjoy it."

Rape jokes tend not to go over well. But while McCain survived the initial scandal, the blowback seems to have survived the 22 year gap. The story was recently unearthed and reported by a variety of online and in-print publications.

Wife Beating Joke - In a June, 2008 interview with ABC News senior national correspondent Jake Tapper, McCain was asked why he had passed over Nevada's Republican Governor Jim Gibbons when choosing his state campaign chair (traditionally, the first choice if the governor and the presidential nominee are members of the same party). McCain explained that he had a longstanding relationship with the state's lieutenant governor, and that his choice was not a snub of any kind. Pressing the subject, Tapper asked whether McCain had passed over Gibbons as a result of the governor's relatively low approval ratings.

"And I stopped beating my wife just a couple of weeks ago," McCain laughed.

The reference is to what Tapper refers to as a "distasteful bit of DC yuckery so commonly quoted its hackneyed."

Despite the widespread news stories on it in Nevada, it's possible that McCain hadn't heard about Gibbons' recent high-profile divorce, stemming from multiple charges of infidelity. Moreover, a cocktail waitress accused Gibbons of grabbing and threatening her with sexual assault in a parking garage.

In Tapper's words: "Awkward."

Opposing Equal Roles for Women in the Military - Following the end of the Gulf War in 1991, a large contingent of women in the military were pushing for increased rolls. McCain bristled at the idea, and spoke out publicly against it. "The purpose of the military is first to defend this nation's vital security interests throughout the globe and only second to ensure equality."
