"That loud bang we all just heard was the beginning of the General Election."
Any residents of PA, NJ, or NY that want to offer their support to John McCain should e-mail me at: TalkTop65@aol.com. Tell me where you live, and I'll put you in touch (as quickly as possible) with campaign organizers in your area.
As for those who live in the NYC/NJ area, the critical message to get across to Hillary Supporters (and they total in the millions) is that the DNC doesn't like them or respect them. They do, however, want their votes. The woman in WI was duly elected and there is no reason for the DNC to dump her. There is at least one McCain delegate who appeared in a pro-Obama commercial. I haven't heard anybody saying he should be thrown up the bus.
The McCain Campaign intends to win New York and New Jersey . . . states that went strongly for Sen. Clinton in the primaries but are being taken for granted by Barack H. Obama.
That "loud bang" we all just heard was the beginning of the General Election.
I urge all Hillary Supporters in PA NOT to vote for Jason Altmire (4th CD), Patrick Murphy (8th CD), or Tim Holden (17th CD). All of them went against their constituents and stabbed Sen. Clinton in the back. Vote instead for Melissa Hart, Tom Manion, and Toni Gilhooley, all of whom are honorable and courageous people. They need your support.
As for Allyson Schwartz (13th CD), Paul Kanjorski (11th CD), and Joe Sestak (7th CD), they're all now apparently supporting Barack H. Obama. He's the same man who called Pennsylvanians "bitter" people "clinging" to guns and God. Obama has no grasp of who Pennsylvanians are -- and frankly, neither do the Congressmen I've cited. It makes no sense to vote for people who destroyed Mrs. Clinton's chances to win the nomination.
If you want to know who such people are in your state, go the following: http://dncreform.com.
There are much better candidates, including Marina Kats, Lou Barletta, and Craig Williams. They deserve the backing of Hillary Supporters all others seeking to bring integrity to Pennsylvania politics.

Hillary Supporters: "Mad as Hell"

Two Noted Hillary-Haters, Nancy Pelosi and PA Congressman Patrick Murphy. There is a national effort underway by supporters of Sen. Hillary Clinton to target for defeat SuperDelegates like Murphy who support Obama in direct conflict with the wishes of their constituents.
Rep. Patrick Murphy (Bucks County, PA) getting the evil eye from his political mentor and fellow Hillary-Hater Nancy Pelosi. Murphy, a former Army lawyer, basically sold out his fellow soldiers (see below) for "considerations" by Speaker Pelosi. Patrick Murphy believes he has settled down in DC for a cushy political career of handing out favors and taking a "what, me worry?" attitude to national security. Don't get too settled, Patrick, because Tom Manion is gaining on you. Manion, an American hero whose son, Travis, died in Iraq deserves your support. If you've just received your stimulus check, please consider donating either one-third or one-half it to Manion at: http://votemanion.com/. Please send it in memory of Travis Manion.
Of course, if you're the rare breed that prefers political sleaze-bags, youl'll probably feel comfortable with Murphy. "Just say . . . enough is enough." National Hillary Supporters groups are targeting Obama-philes like Murphy, a SuperDelegate who supported the Illinois Senator, even though his district (and state) went overwhelmingly for Hillary Clinton.
ON MAD-AS-HELL HILLARY SUPPORTERS
Amazing isn't a big enough word for what follows . . . but as the husband of one wife and father of five daughters, most of whom supported Hillary Clinton, I'm not totally surprised.
"Go to the window and open it up, and shout out, 'I'm mad as hell, and I'm not going to take it anymore!'" (Peter Finch, in "Network")
Jean Avery of http://moms4mccain.blogspot.com sent me the following fascinating material from an angry Hillary Supporters thread. Fascinating isn't quite a big enough word. Stupefying?
-- Steve, I posted your HillarySupporters blog link in comments on this thread, will keep you posted!

An explosion of rogue grassroots organizations coalesced literally over night to form one united Mega-Coalition, Just Say No Deal -- www.justsaynodeal.com
Growing exponentially individually but infinitely together in one unifying mission, they are Obama’s worst nightmare.
The Just Say No Deal is made up of over 20 grassroots organizations and over 1 million subscribers thus far -- with one unifying mission: Operation Nobama.
Literally millions of frustrated, disenfranchised and gritty activists, to include Democrats, Independents as well as naughty Republicans have already come together for one common thing…”We Will Not Vote For Obama Period.”
[Question]: When asked, “Should Hillary become the nominee for VP, would you then cast your votes for Obama?”
Answer: One goal, one mission…NOBAMA -- Period.
Obama’s campaign got this one right…he has managed to bring people of all colors, genders, cultures and religions together for one unifying coalition: .Just Say No Deal.
By 5 PM tomorrow you can log onto the Just Say No Deal site and literally choose from a buffet of grass roots organizations such as the Clintons4mccain.com or thehireheels.com whose common goal will be to keep Obama out of the oval office.
The http://www.clintons4mccain.com/ group has also started making pledges of donations to send to John McCain after the DNC Convention when they are certain Hillary is OUT.

My comment: I support John McCain for President. I believe Hillary Clinton waged a tough (loved the shot-and-beer episode) campaign, and that she received a raw deal from the Obama group and the national media.

Hillary Supporters Flocking to McCain
This weekend's column will have the title "Maloney Denounces Hillary Basher Noonan." It will be a criticims of "Peggy" Noonan's WSJ column portraying Sen. Clinton as somehow the Darth Vader of the Democratic Party, which she certainly is not. Come visit!
Americans in all 50 states are urging John McCain to select as his running mate Gov. Sarah Heath Palin of Alaska. She certainly has some of the same conviction and commitment many people have found in Senator Clinton. If you want learn more about Sarah, the best thing to do is to visit Adam Brickley's site: http://palinforvp.blogspot.com/. Please don't hesitate to copy and use this "unofficial" button on your own blog. God bless Sarah and her remarkable family.

Hillary supporters are ALWAYS welcome here . . .
The Hillary Supporters for McCain Movement is going forward rapidly. I'd love to hear from people who support Hillary Clinton in the Democratic Primary but who will vote for -- or are leaning toward -- John McCain against Barack Obama. There will be several columns up in the next week, and I truly would like to hear from you. You can leave your thoughts in the "comments" section or send me an e-mail at TalkTop65@aol.com.
On the important web site called mccainnow, I wrote a recent piece on why Hillary supporters should back John McCain. I hope everyone who intends to vote for John will click on mccainnow (preceding sentence) and register to participate in the discussion there. The following are comments about my piece on mccainnow.
The following is from Mark, a lifelong Democrat:
"Hello. I am one of those Hillary supporters who vowed to cross-over and vote for McCain should Obama become the nominee. I'm a bit shell-shocked and saddened over what has transpired. I'm a life-time Democrat of 36 years, from a long family line of Democrats. I don't need party conversion talk. Just a refuge and understanding."
The following is from Jean Avery:
"Hi Mark. My Dad is a prominent Democrat in my very conservative home town. Even HE admitted McCain was a really strong candidate (he is also a Navy buff) and would be tough to beat. His local career would be damaged by actively supporting him, but it wouldn't surprise me if the lever in the ballot box goes "R" for McCain.
"This campaign is different because we've all been challenged to move past stereotypes and choose with our heads. McCain clearly has the credentials and character to do the job, he is a candidate you can and should feel good about supporting. Welcome."
The following is from Massachusetts political activist Brad Marston:
"Hillary certainly is closer to being qualified to being President than Obama is just not as qualified as McCain is.
"No conversion rhetoric here...support local and state Democratic politicians...but stay true to your conviction of voting for what is best for America. If the choice is Obama vs McCain, I believe the choice is clear."
The following comment is from me (Steve Maloney)
"I've been touched by the number of Hillary supporters (and the number in the millions) who will vote for John McCain. The only thing I'd add is that there some Republican congressional that deserve a careful look by Democrats and Independents. One of them is Tom Manion from Bucks County (outside Philadelphia). Manion is a retired Marine Colonel whose son, Travis, was a Naval Academy graduate who unfortunately was killed in Iraq. I think all of us, whatever Party, should look at people like Manion (and his son) with awe. http://votemanion.com."
Let me add this: One of my daughters and my son-in-law voted for Hillary Clinton in the Pennsylvania Democratic Primary. My wife and another daughter wanted to vote for Hillary, but they found they couldn't because they are registered as Independents. As for me, well I voted for John McCain.
A reminder to all visitors, please send your own comments (to TalkTop65@aol.com) about being a Hillary supporter. I'm in Pennsylvania, but the Hillary Supporters for McCain is a national effort to elect a true American hero to the presidency.
In the recent North Carolina Primary, approximately 40% of the Hillary voters -- hundreds of thousands of people -- said they were certain or likely to vote for McCain against Obama.
