Lipstick on Obama: The Pig

Scroll down to read about the "Vote Bitter Project" and How You Can Support Sarah Palin

Below, Sarah is the one with the lipstick. Todd, unlike Barack, doesn't wear it.

By being creative and relentless, we will make sure the next vice-president of the US is Gov. Sarah Palin. I will be writing here about Sarah, a truly remarkable woman, on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday of this week. The vicious campaign waged against her is really a campaign against the American people, the "normal Americans" who make this country work.

In order to get a "National Vote Bitter Day" Sarah tee-shirt, please click on the banner at the top of the sidebar to your right. If you have any trouble (and you won't), you can get in to see and purchase the material by clicking on the following: http://votebitter.com/steve. To make a purchase, you'll have to put in the promo code, which is my first name: steve.

One way you can generate the funds you need to help John and Sarah -- and to help the people who are campaigning full-time for them -- is to wear you "Vote Bitter" colors. Another way is to purchase 10 or 20 (or 50) tee-shirts and sell them at a small premium. Then, sink the money into campaign efforts. The product is inexpensively priced.

Thanks to all of you who are choosing to "Vote Bitter." Wear your shirt on November 4. Heck, wear it every day! Show your support for a "normal American," Gov. Sarah Palin of Alaska. "Barack? In your face, my man." As the saying goes, "We ain't bitter -- just better."

Obviously, the Vote Bitter project is aimed at key states like Ohio, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Ohio, and Virginia. On Monday, September 29, a national effort will be launched by many bloggers to get voters to "Vote Bitter." The goal is to get hundreds of thousands of voters in Battleground States and elsewhere to wear their "Vote Bitter" tee-shirts on election day, November 4.

The project will entail a massive show of solidarity with Senator John McCain and, especially, Gov. Sarah Palin.

It will involve the sale of tee-shirts and other products. Many of the people involved, including yours truly, have been spending every spare moment of time -- and sinking every available dollar -- into the effort to elect John McCain and Sarah Palin. In my case and that of others, that's where every dollar accumulated from this effort will go between now and Election Day.

Tomorrow, I'll have up the URL links to all the bloggers who are participating. Some of them are among the most-visited sites on the blogosphere. In the meantime, please view the video and the audio. Between now and the launch at 11 a.m. Monday, visit what will be one of the most dynamic sites around: http://votebitter.com/. You'll be able to hear the radio ad that will promote the "Vote Bitter" undertaking.

You'll be able to order tee-shirts tomorrow on this site and others.

On November 4, please "Vote Bitter." With your support, we will win this election.

Palin: "My Cold, Dead Lips"

Sarah Palin, Amrican icon, plays many roles in her life . . .

The rapid rise of Gov. Palin of Alaska has generated a number of sites focused mainly on "Sarah," who in the space of four weeks has become an American icon. One of the best of these sites is: http://sarahpalinrocks.blogspot.com/. The following article appeared on that site:

"from my cold, dead lips"...

By Jim Popkin, NBC News Senior Investigative Producer

When federal judges in San Francisco ruled in 2002 that reciting the Pledge of Allegiance in public schools was unconstitutional because it included the phrase "under God," Sarah Palin was not amused. Palin, who at the time was Mayor of Wasilla, Alaska, quickly drafted a terse letter to the editor of a San Francisco newspaper.

“Dear Editor,” Palin wrote in 2002. “San Francisco judges forbidding our Pledge of Allegiance? They will take the phrase ‘under God’ away from me when my cold, dead lips can no longer utter those words,” Palin wrote. “God Bless America,” she concluded.

Democrats for McCain-Palin Rising

"Obstacles don't have to stop you. If you run into a wall, don't turn around and give up. Figure out how to climb it, go through it, or work around it." -Michael Jordan

All,

This email is to advise you that earlier today we posted – at www.democratsformcain.com – various FLIERS and ARTWORK for supporters of Senator John McCain and Governor Sarah Palin – especially supporters that are Democrats – to be able to download and distribute to friends, family, co-workers and neighbors.

These flyers feature “WHY” DemocratsforMcCain.com was launched; what John McCain’s principles mean for the middle class; McCain position papers, and; many more pieces that have been featured on our site the past few months.

The artwork can be downloaded from the site as well, and can be used by you to “pin” to your own ideas, flyers, and position papers.

If you have not had the time or inclination to visit www.democratsformccain.com recently, please do so soon!.

We all should be so proud of Senator McCain going to Washington and becoming immersed in the current financial crisis. His character, authenticity and leadership are being put on the stage for all Americans to see again.

Best Wishes,
- Frank.

America's Economy? Basically, It's Fine

thanks to Mike Devine ("Gamecock" on Red State for acquainting me with the material below.) Recently, John McCain said America's economic "fundamentals are good." Of course, Barack Obama and his horde of know-nothings immediately rushed out with a commercial indicating that McCain must be clueless because he was not presenting the kind of hysterical message we were hearing on CNN and MSNBC.

As the article by Max Boot (an excerpt below) shows, what McCain said was factually (key word) correct. Of course, in the world of BHO and David Axelrod, little matters like truth count for nothing -- and demagoguery counts for everything.

Here's the link to Boot's profoundly important essay that appeared in the LA Times.http://www.latimes.com/news/opinion/la-oe-boot24-2008sep24,0,96527.storyThe following is an excerpt from the article:

"What the pessimists ignore is that the fundamentals of the U.S. economy remain strong. Indeed, the World Economic Forum has ranked the United States as the world's most competitive economy for the last two years. (The new survey comes out next month.) Its statistics show that per-capita gross domestic product in the U.S. consistently has grown faster than in other developed economies since 1980.

Looking deeper at the causes of American competitiveness shows that we score especially strongly not only in domestic market size (No. 1 in the world) but also in such areas as time required to start a business (No. 3), venture capital availability (No. 1), the cost of firing an employee (No. 1), ownership of personal computers (No. 2), university/industry research collaboration (No. 1) and quality of scientific research institutions (No. 2).

"The availability of venture capital might be affected temporarily by the market turmoil, and we should worry if Democrats gain control of both ends of Pennsylvania Avenue in November because they might exacerbate what the survey found to be the two most "problematic" issues for doing business in the U.S. -- high tax rates and cumbersome tax regulations. [Note: Of course Obama wants to raise taxes and increase regulation.]

"But whatever happens in the next few months, most of the other advantages that have been powering the U.S. economy forward for decades will remain unchanged.

"So too will another vital statistic: population growth. According to federal statistics, the fertility rate in the U.S., where each woman has on average 2.1 children, is now the highest among major industrialized economies. We are above replacement level while Europe, Japan and other industrialized economies have long been beneath it.

That means that, even as our major competitors have to cope with graying populations, declining productivity and increasing pension costs, our population will remain relatively youthful and vibrant, notwithstanding the retirement of the baby boomers. This advantage is enhanced by our ability to attract and integrate hardworking immigrants from around the world."

Barack Obama, meet Max Boot.

Obama Damaging Women's Health

Governor Sarah Palin and her family have been under relentless attack by Barack Obama, David Axelrod, and their media stooges.
The following letter from "RB" is right on target regarding the sexism and misogyny of the Obama Campaign and its minions in the media. As usual, it's a story the MSM is refusing to discuss. The following letter meanders slightly, but it is a cry-from-the-heart about the devastating effects Obama has had on our society and its politics.

Dear Liz – I do hope you are doing better and your hip is healing. Knowing you, while you were cutting that branch you were stewing like me over all this negativity around women…………..

I don't know if you realize just what this election is doing to women. When I read the problems your friends are having and knowing other women Hillary supporters who are having medical issues, I see nothing but confusion, anger, depression, families fighting within themselves, friends fighting.
It all makes me feel like what have I really achieved……… in this election? Basically, one man -- Obama -- destroyed Hillary, playing the race card over and over.
I am reading such horrible comments on the websites (“whitey will wax our shoes”…… and other terrible comments about women), and I just feel like I don’t matter and other women like do not matter.
For the first time I am afraid to put a bumper sticker on my car for fear of violence. Look at how they protested in front of McCain’s house. People do not realize that this is serious stuff when you make promises, as Obama has, that you cannot keep.
There is just plain thuggery out there – all niceties and values are out the window. Nancy Pelosi apparently became a woman who broke through barriers, but now I realize that there are no barriers for women of the upper class. And when I heard Sally Quinn say of Sarah Palin, “she is not of the establishment”…….. what is that supposed to mean??
Look at how stupidly Congress is trying to add pork to a bill our COUNTRY needs for the economic crisis. The DNC blame the RNC, but THEY the Dems were at the wheel for nearly 3 years now. Did not Christopher Dodd see this, Barney Frank, and even Obama (as well as Ted Kennedy, Joe Biden, Harry Reid, and others)?? You cannot blame Bush for everything – you have to take responsibility and be accountable, and they the Dems have failed to do so.
I was so against the war when all those solders were dead or badly injured, but with the surge I felt optimistic and more so now. But I do agree that this was not a war we should have had. But you cannot put back the milk once its split. What do you think?

Women were told that if you are an achiever and a mother you can "go places" – but does that mean going down only??? Hillary has been round the block, though even she must be depressed and confused with all this.
But Sarah Palin – what did she do? She rose from the ranks of the PTA, had children and one special needs child, and this is the abuse she is getting for achieving, pulling herself to reach the sky? I just cannot believe the venom and hatred spewing out of the mouths of women. The Feminist Movement is DEAD. All they have done for women is burn bras, and the rest is NADA.
I always thought that this is what the movement wanted – a woman who pulled herself up (did not whine), had a family and was successful. Boy was I wrong!!! I felt s honored to know about Gloria Steinam and told my kids all about her……….. now I wish I had not met her because she is not for women’s rights, just for one issue “pro choice” and is a true Elitist……….

Now, we have to keep on hearing all these remarks about women and this poor woman who is so far removed from Washington being picked on daily…… I know all the adage it comes with the territory, but this is not the territory – it is sheer madness and sheer vulgarity.
Look at The View, an icon of America. Barbara Walters is really down in the gutter with the company she keeps. I admired her as she had achieved so much, but she is just a shrill machine for ratings, and is really down in the gutters.

I really feel so down with this election, and I think we not just as women, but as a nation get McCain elected. I wish I did not have medical needs and was a few years younger. Believe me I would travel down to PA.

Am I the only one feeling down and depressed, or have you heard from others? What recourse do we have to this ………. From the emails of today I feel that nothing is going to help. The Empty Suit will probably give us 4 more years of hell.

Anyway, I could not sleep and just wanted to share my thoughts with you knowing your background.

Take care, my friend.

Democrat at Republican Convention

Cindy and John McCain with Gov. Sarah Heath Palin

A Democrat likes the Republican Convention much than her own. This is the kind of commentary you should be reading or hearing in the MSM -- but won't.

It's by Marnie Delano of the Hudson Valley area in New York. She attended BOTH conventions, the Democrats' as a protester and the Republicans' as an invited guest. She was at the GOP event there in support of Gov. Palin.

Marnie is a lifelong Democrat, but she's doing important work in backing McCain-Palin. She blogs often and well at: http://truthisgold.blogspot.com/. She's hoping to come to Pennsylvania to campaign -- although her own state has gotten very close!

A TALE OF TWO CONVENTIONS

by Marnie Delano

Upon hearing the news that Sarah Palin had been chosen as John McCain's running mate and learning of the spate of vicious sexist attacks upon her, Thelma, Louise and Princess Laia veered suddenly left and north to head to the Republican Convention in Minneapolis. In our last episode, we had arrived safely thereon and were making plans to be interviewed and attend Governor Palin's speech scheduled for Wednesday, September 3.

Today finds us mulling over the events of last night, and all the permutations therein. It was a first for this writer: attending a Republican convention was the last thing I ever thought I would be doing.

Amidst frantic phone calls from family asking whether I had lost my mind, I marched forth with my stalwart sisters to make our stand for feminism, women's rights, and human rights.

Irrespective of candidates' ideologies, it is our position that sexist smears, comments and accusations cannot be tolerated, at any time or any place. To continue to allow this kind of thing to perpetuate is to keep all people enslaved. As Hillary [Clinton] says, "Women's Rights Are Human Rights."

We were met at the skybox most graciously by two lovely RNC officials and were immediately struck by the contrast between the two conventions. Just having come from Denver, we had experienced and witnessed a great deal of unpleasantness--delegate intimidation, aggressive Obamabots, hostile and arrogant DNC officials were the rule rather than the exception, and at times the only friends we felt present were the Denver police, the foreign press and the residents, all of whom were terrific.

On the other hand, the officials and attendees here in St. Paul have been nothing but open, welcoming and enthusiastic about our presence. Regardless of whether one agrees with Sarah Palin's policies, one has to respect her right to voice them without fear of her family or herself being maligned.

The utter disrespect and sexism that has emerged, once again, toward a woman running for office in the United States is unacceptable.

When Joe Biden lost a wife and child in a car crash years ago, no one suggested to him that he quit his job to stay home and take care of his children; no one has suggested that he is a poor parent because his daughter was arrested for obstructing justice--in fact, no one even REPORTED the incident, which occurred years ago, until NOW!

And so it goes. It will not stop until we MAKE it stop. Call us what you will--we will not stop until equality is a reality, not just something Democrats feel they can apply only to themselves or those of whom they approve.

Equality is for EVERYone...all races, religions, creeds, genders, and yes...even political parties. Even Republicans have the right to be free from sexist, personal assaults upon themselves and their families. If one is maligned, we are all vulnerable.

The author of the above piece, Marnie Delano of the Hudson Valley, New York, is a member of the NoBama Mission Leadership Group dedicated to the election of John McCain and Sarah Palin. I'm also a member of that group.

Bill Clinton Praises Sarah Palin

Sarah doing the "Habitat for Humanity" duties

Recently, in an interview with CNBC's Maria Bartiromo, Bill Cliton gave his initial opinion of Sarah Palin. And it's glowing.

CLOSING BELL WITH MARIA BARTIROMO

Clinton said, "She’s an instinctively effective candidate. And with a compelling story. And she grew up, came up in a political culture, a religious culture that is probably well to the right of the American center. But she didn’t basically define herself in those terms.

"She basically said: 'Look, this is where I come from. I’m not going to impose this on you. This is what I want to do and I think we can all be a part of.' So she handled herself very well."

Thus, according to Bill, Sarah has a record of placing the needs of the electorate above her personal beliefs. Someone I can trust to put the needs of our country above the needs of her party. A refreshingly accurate portrayal for a change.
And her abilities as a leader? Need I say more? Bill is impressed.
He says, "But I get why she’s done so well. It’s a mistake to underestimate her. Her intuitive skills are significant."

Obama Not Black? Plus Palins

Tomorrow I'll write about "Is Barack Obama Really Black?" The answer will surprise you. If he's elected, he will NOT be our "first Black President," much as he'd like you to think otherwise. Below, see how you can help Sarah and the Palin Family.

"We cling to our God . . . and our Children." Sarah, Todd, and Trig Palin
Note: It's absolutely critical that all of us reach out to as many people as possible to indicate our support for John McCain and Sarah Palin. Here's how you can do so: Make Phone Calls from Home. . . Reaching out to undecided voters in your state. That's vital to spreading the word that John McCain and Governor Palin are the right choice for voters all across America. That's why we're asking you to take a few minutes or even a free evening to make calls for John McCain and Governor Sarah Palin. You can call your local McCain or GOP office and volunteer, or you can phone from home in your spare time. Visit www.JohnMcCain.com/PhoneBank to get started today.
If you'll scroll down to the prvious columns, you'll see why Bill Clinton has his fingers crossed -- and probably his toes -- when he says he supports Obama, the man whose campaign labeled the former President a racist.

BILL CLINTON CAN'T ENDORSE OBAMA

Can Bill Clinton support Obama? He certainly can PRETEND to do so. But he's cant -- in good conscience -- support a man who although with his surrogates and media toadies labeled his wife a warmonger, a liar, and a racist. He especially can't endorse a man who, along with his top advisers, branded Bill Clinton himself a racist. Seemingly, just about anything is possible in politics, but some things that are possible are not plausible -- such as forgiving a former opponent for despicable conduct.

The following CNN story suggests why you should take with a grain of salt any suggestion of an endorsement of Obama by the Clintons. A man who plays the worst form of racial politics, Obama, should not be a serious candidate for President.

Bill Clinton: Obama camp 'played the race card on me'Posted: 10:27 AM ET
From CNN Political Producer Alexander Marquardt, CNN's Chris Welch

Former president Clinton campaigned for his wife in Pennsylvania recently.

(CNN) — On the eve of Tuesday’s critical Pennsylvania primary, former President Bill Clinton accused Barack Obama’s campaign of playing the race card against him.

After the phone interview with Delaware radio station WHYY Monday night, a stray comment of his on the issue was also recorded before he hung up: “I don’t think I should take any s*** from anybody on that, do you?”The former president had been asked whether his remarks comparing Obama’s strong showing in South Carolina to that of Jesse Jackson in 1988 had been a mistake given their impact on his wife Hillary Clinton’s campaign.

No, I think that they played the race card on me,” said Clinton, “and we now know from memos from the campaign and everything that they planned to do it all along.”

We were talking about South Carolina political history and this was used out of context and twisted for political purposes by the Obama campaign to try to breed resentment elsewhere. And you know, do I regret saying it? No. Do I regret that it was used that way? I certainly do. But you really got to go some to try to portray me as a racist.”

He added that the way Obama’s campaign had reacted was “disrespectful to Jesse Jackson” and that the former presidential candidate had told him he was not offended, and that “we all know what’s going on."

UPDATE: At a Pittsburgh press availability,

Obama was asked about Clinton's charge that his campaign had drawn up plans to use 'the race card.'“Hold on a second,’’ he said. “So former President Clinton dismissed my victory in South Carolina as being similar to Jesse Jackson and he is suggesting that somehow I had something to do with it? You better ask him what he meant by that. I have no idea what he meant. These were words that came out of his mouth. Not words that came out of mine.’

Bill Clinton, Obama: Dark Hearts

Gov. Sarah Palin in red outline addresses huge crowd at Colorado Springs Airport.

Sarah Palin, Hillary, and Biden
On the meeting between Bill Clinton and Barack Obama: Are we really to believe that the substance of the two men's discussion was Bill's advice that Barack use the same Mud Machine on Sarah Palin previously employed successfully against Hillary Clinton. That would be too cynical even for Beltway politics -- wouldn't it? Joseph Conrad wrote a novel about people's descent into evil -- "The Heart of Darkness" -- and both men should read it.

If you want to click above on "Sarah Palin, Hillary, and Biden" you can read more about the real possibility that Hillary Clinton will replace Joe Biden on the Democratic ticket. To use a mixed metaphor, check the tea leaves carefully (Biden's recent statements) -- and then see if something doesn't smell very fishy.

Shocker: Hillary to Replace Biden

Sarah Palin, America's most lovable "pit bull" -- lipstick no additional cost

The column below (yesterday's) about Hillary Clinton replacing Joe Biden on the Democratic ticket is accurate. The column below (yesterday's) about Hillary Clinton replacing Joe Biden on the Democratic ticket is accurate. The information is coming from very knowledgable and patriotic Americans -- who are very fearful what damage an Obama presidency would do to their country.

If Mrs. Clinton accepts the V-P offer -- and it appears she will -- the damage to our nation's political system would be enormous. On a lesser plane, it could destroy her reputation.

In regard to the "Hillary V-P story," I've heard from several HUNDRED people, including some in the national media. In fact, I have nothing additional to say to them. As time goes on, however, I'll have plenty more to say to you -- and to individuals in the media who do not spend all their waking moments being cheerleaders for a deeply flawed candidate, Barack H. Obama.

How are the "PUMAs" reacting? Most of them are horrified -- and outraged. They have moved on from the Democrats' soap-opera. They believe they're being manipulated. Most of them love Gov. Palin and strongly support McCain-Palin. They don't want Hillary Clinton to commit the biggest mistake of her political career. They are no longer inclined to engage in endless rationalizations for her behavior -- and that of her husband.

Many still revere the Clintons, but they fear they've lost their minds.

We (Clintons4McCain, NoBama Mission, and other coaltion groups) know (as opposed to "believe") that the campaign of rumor, innuendo, and hatred directed against Gov. Sarah Heath Palin is orchestrated by Barack H. Obama and his minion David Axelrod. It's carried on by various extremist groups, including Moveon.org and Daily Kos. The Obama Campaign tells them what falsehoods and innuendoes to print, and they do it. All of these groups are paid -- directly or indirectly -- by Obama, Inc.

What on earth is going on in America? Please understand that far-left Obama Democrats truly believe "there is no life beyond the Beltway." That is of course ridiculous, but they do indeed accept it as an article of faith.

Many of them have huge personal fortunes (Kerry, Pelosi, Kennedy, Kohl, Lautenberg, Rockefeller, Feinstein, Clinton, and Edwards in his day), and they're willing to spend whatever it takes to retain their places in Congress.

The Obama Democrats have as their role model Sen. Robert Byrd of WV, a nine-term Senator, one with 50-plus years of so-called "service." You ask, service toward whom? And the sad answer is "service to himself and his Party." Sen. Byrd, now wearing adult diapers, doddering about the Senate floor, and frequently breaking into tears, is the ideal. He's expected to run for re-election.

His epitaph might read, "He outlasted everyone else." What did he do for his country? Not much. .

Obama Dumps Biden, Chooses Hillary

The lady, Sarah Palin, who has scared the Dems into casting aside Biden and choosing Hillary as V-P. Are they desperate or are they desperate?

Obama to name Hillary as V-P candidate as Biden gets unceremoniously dumped . . .
"I have a lifetime of experience. Sen. McCain has a lifetime of experience. Senator Obama has a speech he delivered in 2002." (Hillary Rodham Clinton)

We have received information from sources high in the Democratic Party that, in a cynical, desperation move, Hillary Rodham Clinton will replace the hapless Joe Biden as V-P candidate on the floundering Obama ticket. I will send out more information on this within the next hour. Hillary Clinton has said that Barack H. Obama is not qualified to be Commander-in-Chief. He hasn't grown any more qualified presumably in the past few weeks. As the saying now goes, "It took a Republican woman [Sarah Palin] to have the Obama Dems name a woman to the ticket."

"Stand up! Stand up! And fight for what's right" (John McCain)

Much more information to follow later . . . On my blogs, I first broke the news that John McCain would name Sarah Palin as his running mate (scroll down to the columns two weeks ago today).

People Who Hate Sarah Palin

Who hates Sarah? The liberals and the Democratic Party hacks trying desperately to dig up dired on her . . .

People who "don't like" Sarah Palin are those who don't like the fact that America is an extremely diverse country. They can't stand people who aren't . . . just like them. The goal of government in America is to empower people so as to help make them (us) stronger and better off -- more capable of assuming responsibility for our lives. The government doesn't do it -- how on earth would it? The people do it, or they don't. Some of your friends like Barack H. Obama because he promises to pay them off (with what?) for their votes. The people Sarah represents are ones who would not starve to death if the local Whole Foods closed. They're the ones who produce the foods available in Whole Foods. When the vast majority of people can't basically take care of themselves, they sure as hell can't take care of others. Barack forgot that little detail. Sarah didn't . . . and won't. She is tough, and they are weak. She will win, and they will lose.

Trig Palin: The Stolen Pacifier

The following piece is about the Obama's Campaign never-ending attempt to dig up dirt in order to destroy Gov. Sarah Heath Palin. Since the attacks come exclusively from the Democratic Party, those who participate in any way in that Party's activities are in fact enablers of evil.

The following is humorous -- in a rueful way. It has gone viral, and I appreciate the many positive comments I've received.

Led by the "Chosen One," the Obama Campaign tends to get WAY off message, with long clouds of hot air being used to answer questions no one has asked. But it will get better at that. The ads and the smears will grow increasingly hateful -- and bizarre.

The current attack message is that Gov. Palin is a (shudder) Christian. Imagine that! What an outrage to the well -heeled liberal ladies of the Upper West Side and the desiccated secularists of "The View."

The New York Times will do a carefully crafted editorial on how any candidate who not an agnostic or athiest is truly fit to serve. MSNBC will launch an expose on something-or-other.

In general, the modern Democratic Party is anti-Christian and anti-women. People like Obama and Biden list their "religious affiliation" with about as much conviction as they note their membership in the Kiwanis Club. I wish that were not true, because one would hope both Parties were responsible and committed enough to run the country.

The campaign to destroy Gov. Palin is going to fail. It is as pathetic as it is malicious and mendacious.

We will hear endless charges that when she was 7 years-old Sarah took an extra cupcake at school. Presumably, some mentally disturbed person at her OLD church will make bizarre theological statements that will then be attributed (absurdly) to the Governor. We will also hear that Bristol Palin was not well-liked by three girls in junior high.

I wish I were exaggerating, but I fear that I'm not. We'll certainly hear unfriendly comments from some of the political crooks Sarah helped put in jail. Piper Palin will be questioned intensely on how many Black friends she has.

We will learn some truly shocking news: that Sarah once borrowed a cup of sugar -- and did not return it. A psychologist associated with "Entertainment Tonight" will analyze the underlying significance of the sugar theft. Theologians from the University of Chicago will be consulted to determine exactly which commandment Sarah broke.

Reporters will thoroughly examine Sarah's trash. It will reveal a rich lode of evidence: coffee grounds, used bread wrappers, spinach Piper refused to eat, and an extremely provocative empty bottle of olive oil -- Extra Virgin!

Does that bottle contain hidden significance? Is it a veiled plea for chastity before marriage? Is it a hidden rebuke to Bristol? There are now more lawyers (all from Chicago apparently) and media dirt hunters in Wasilla than there are permanent residents.

The National Enquirer has a half-dozen people there (the entire Chicago bureau?), presumably looking for evildoing related in some arcane way to John Edwards mistress, Rielle Hunter, and Todd Palin.

Trust, me, Sarah's boyfriend when she was age 15 will receive constant media attention. Someone may find a copy of her secret diary composed during the ages 11 to 13! It will be examined closely for links to her current political philosophy.

Attempts will be made to steal Trig's pacifier. If the heist is successful, look for it on eBay -- opening bid at $10,000. Then, look for the Palins to buy a new one for $1.98 -- "film at 11."

A reference or photo in (Bristol-fiance) "Levi's" MySpace will receive eight hours analysis by Matthews and Olberman. Track Palin will be accused of cross-checking a rival in a hockey 2004 match. Todd Palin's snow-machine racer will be subjected to forensic analysis.

So, how do we win this election? If everyone who now favors McCain-Palin will recruit one new supporter -- or shore up one who's wavering, we will indeed prevail.

And, by the way, whatever happened to the "lovely" Michelle Obama? Did he ("the Chosen One") dump her without our knowledge? Perhaps she's relocated to friendlier climes, such as Kenya? Was Barack seen -- or was he not -- in the company of Rielle Hunter.

Actually, I believe Michelle is under the same bus where Barack tossed grandma. And where oh where is Rev. Jeremiah Wright when we most need him?

Sarah Palin: Lipstick, Pit-Bull

Sarah Palin is dominating the print and electronic media, and McCain-Palin bloggers (500 strong) are beginning to dominate the Web.

Sarah Palin: "You know the difference between a pit bull and a hockey mom? Lipstick!"

[If you ever wondered (but why?) what I look like (hint: NOT Brad Pitt) and sound like (more like BHO than Sarah Palin), the link following is me appearing on KDKA Web TV in Pittsburgh. I am debating two women liberals regarding Gov. Palin. At one point I say, "I think I'm the only one here who takes women seriously." I also suggested they were watching entirely too much "Nick at Night." http://kdka.com/video/?id=45870@kdka.dayport.com Note: I have five daughters, four of whom voted for Hillary Clinton -- along with my wife -- in the Democratic Primaries but all of whom are now backing McCain-Palin.]
Thanks to the 140,000-plus people who have visitied my blogs in the past eight days. My main blog is: http://camp2008victorya.blogspot.com/. I also have a very popular blog established in April that appeals mainly to people who supported Hillary Clinton and are now behind McCain-Palin: http://hillarysupportersformccain.blogspot.com/. Finally, there's my Pennsylvania-specific blog: http://pennsylvaniaforjohnmccain.blogspot.com/. I hope you'll visit all of them frequently.
I was the blogger who broke the story that McCain would choose Sarah Palin as his running -- at 2:30 a.m. two Fridays ago.
Bulletin: Cristi Adkins, a media star in her own right, provided me the following first-hand report of today's (Wednesday's) McCain-Palin rally in Fairfax, Virginia:
"Went to a Sarah Palin and John McCain rally today in Fairfax. It was excellent work, and a crowd of at '20,000' reported by the volunteer there. The energy was spectacular. The crowd went wild when Cindy McCan came on stage -- and even wilder when they announced John McCain's name."
"What happened when they announced Gov. Palin? You could hear the cheering for MILES, and I do not exaggerate.
There was no more room at the event, and people were literally listening to her in the street, sidewalk and on the corners of parking lots. This was incredibly energizing and inspiring. To see someone so brutally attacked and humiliated go right back out there and fight again . . . "
"Fight and INSPIRE."

McCain, Palin Qualified, Obama UNQUALIFIED

Sarah Palin is the political "hurricane" from Alaska, and American politics will never be the same. She's the kind of national leader that comes along about once in a century -- and the Democrats believe they're finished if they and their media minions don't destroy her. They will not -- and cannot -- succeed. In the words of national columnist Jack Kelly, "Journalists last week cast aside the mask of objectivity to reveal they are so deeply in the tank for Mr. Obama [that] most have grown gills." (http://post-gazette.com/forum). Most MSM types hate Sarah Palin. Most Americans love her -- for obvious reasons.

John McCain, Sarah Palin, Bristol Palin, and America's favorite "special needs" child, Trig Paxson Palin. Unlike the American flags at the Obama Invesco Field nomination, the ones you see were NOT thrown in the trash.

If you scroll down to the post two Fridays ago, you'll see that this blog BROKE the story that John McCain would name Sarah Palin as his running mate. Frankly, I beat the MSM by 8 hours, since my story appeared at 2:30 a.m. I've explained how I knew it would happen and why I took the "risk" ("I hope I'm right," I said) of going with it. On that Fateful Friday, I had more blog visitors in ONE DAY than I'd had -- combined -- in the previous year.

I sincerely believe that on this blog and my others (stevemaloneygop and hillarysupportersformccain) you're going to find the very best insight and analysis about the McCain-Palin team and their opponents. I've been advocating for 18 months that Sarah Palin get a place on the ticket.

As this week unfolds, I'll be posting about many topics, including: (1) Why the MSM HATES Sarah Palin -- mainly because she's a normal American with tremendous capacity to upset Obama's apple cart; (2) Why voter intimidation by Obama thugs in the Black community is a national disgrace; and, (3) Why the McCain-Palin team has a chance to produce some dramatic -- and highly positive -- changes in American popular culture (briefly, Sarah is the kind of decent, caring person who can help turn around the "sliming of American society." )

Is Sarah Palin qualified for the nation's highest offices? To determine the answer, please read the following opinion piece from the Miami Herald:

The following Herald piece is titled, "Candidate Obama is not qualified"
Now that Barack Obama has selected Joe Biden as his vice presidential running mate and John McCain has tapped Sarah Palin as his, we know five definitive things about all four distinguished candidates:Three are qualified to be vice president; two as president;and one for neither position.
One: Obama picked Biden because of what he is not: white and experienced.
Two: McCain picked Palin because of who is he not: a woman.
Three: Biden is more qualified to be president than either Obama or McCain.
Four: Palin is more qualified to be vice president or president than Obama.
Five: Biden has been a senator for 35 years, chairman of the Senate Judiciary and Foreign Relations committees. McCain spent four years as a U.S. House member and the past 22 years as a senator, also chairing the Senate Commerce Committee.
Palin was a city council member and chairwoman for four years, mayor for six years, ethics commissioner for four years and governor for two years. Combined she has 16 years of experience.
Obama has been a state senator in Illinois for seven years and a U.S. senator for the past 3 ½ years, two of which have been spent running for president.
If anyone doesn't belong in the Oval Office, it is Barack Obama.

PUMA COUNTERATTACKS OBAMA'S SEXISM

You might also find the following interesting: Sarah Palin, Cristi Adkins: Heroines

The Washington Beltway crowd's two worst nightmares, John McCain & Sarah Palin

"PUMA," a major force in American politics, has launched a fierce counter-attack against Obama's slimeball tactics used against Gov. Sarah Heath Palin and her family. Scroll down for "PUMA" Daniella's important statement about Obama's sexism.

If you're a PUMA or not, please click on the link following to see the new commercial entitled "Alaska Maverick": You can find it either at http://johnmccain.com/ or http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AIn_fFWPaUU&feature=user

How can you help an American hero, John McCain, and an American heroine, Sarah Palin?

You can do so acting on the following: *FIND A MEETING NEAR YOU. Contact a McCain state office and ask them for a nearby event (location and time). Here's the section of the McCain website where you'll find the numbers: http://www.johnmccain.com/Informing/StateContact.htm. If you can't find what you need at that site, please call information to get the number for the nearest John McCain office.

Bulletin: Sarah Palin will be appearing in Lancaster, PA, and Philadelphia soon! More information to come later!

You can also find important information about volunteering at Kathy Morrison's sites, including: http://mccainbloggerresources.blogspot.com/ and http://purplepeoplevote.blogspot.com/. Also, there is good information available at http://nobamamission.com/. Please sign up as a member of NoBamaMission and at http://clintons4mccain.com/.

PLEASE PASS THIS INFORMATION ALONG TO EVERYONE ON YOUR FRIENDS AND FAMILY LISTS! Tens of thousands of people are volunteering after the speeches by Gov. Palin and Sen. McCain. It may take some time for McCain-Palin people to get back to you, but they will.

Daniella is one of several hundred national and state PUMA ("Party Unity My . . . Butt") leaders who are condemning Obama's tactics as sexist and immoral. Here's what she said:

"I can't understand folks who make leaders the driving force in their lives, either. PUMAs were supporting Hillary so vociferously because she, like 18 million votes, were cast aside like old lunch meat so the DNC leaders could "un-Constitutionally/un-democratically" SELECT OBAMA. PUMAs are doing what we can within this Constitutional Republic to PUNISH the LAWBREAKERS the only we available to us. That was by keeping them OUT of the White House. Governor Palin, because she is a GREAT, capable, qualified, brilliant, strong LEADER (I could go on and on), gave us another reason to vote for McCain. And that is because SHE DESERVES to be VP and then hopefully the President of the United States one day. Why? Because she is the epitome of the American Dream... of what Women CAN BE in America and because SHE PUTS COUNTRY and CONSTITUTION BEFORE PARTY. THAT is all we've asked from the Democratic Party who threw off their "covers" and revealed themselves as marxist, racist, sexist, anti-Constitution, anti-American pieces of caca."

Names People Call Barack Obama

Will Obama ever recover from the beating Gov. Palin gave him the other night? Maybe not.

People have many nicknames for Barack H. Obama. Cristi Adkins, whom Obama's attack dogs have been after relentlessly for months, calls him "Hussein." She believes he's much more at home with an Islamic terrorist like Raila Odinga or a domestic terrorist like Williams Ayers than with real people like Hillary Clinton, John McCain, or Sarah Palin.

Of course, many people refer to Obama as BHO. If they're looking for a stinkier term, they could use "BO." Some people express their hope there will be no "BO" in a sweeter smelling world.

One of my favorite bloggers is Mahalo, a PUMA (Party-Unity-my-you-know-what) in Hawaii. She's one of TWO Hawaian bloggers, the other being another beautifully named woman, Malia.

In a recent post -- and she does outstanding ones -- Mahalo calls Barack "Bambi." She's writing about the report that Hillary Clinton might be forced (or deceived?) into a role as "Bambi's attack dog." Somehow, attacking Sarah Palin doesn't seem like a good career move for Mrs. Clinton. Perhaps it would be better -- and safer -- to attack Bambi?

Mahalo also calls Obama, an increasingly hapless, man "Gumby." She uses that term in the following piece: http://logisticsmonster.wordpress.com/2008/09/04/puma-politics-fight-your-own-battles-gumby/ Her point is that Obama's make-peace-not-war approach to life has turned him into a cartoon character, a wimp.

Anyway, he'd better watch out for Mahalo. Hint: her screen name is DiamondTiger.

Anyway, if you have your own favorite name for Barack Hussein Obama (alias "Gumby"), please send it to me at: TalkTop65@aol.com. Let's have some fun with this. Pretend you're Sarah Palin treating Obama like a human pinata.

Sarah Palin Belongs to America

SAINT PAUL, Minn. - This evening Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, the Republican Party's vice presidential nominee, will address the 2008 Republican National Convention. Excerpts from the governor's remarks, as prepared for delivery, are below.

Hillary Supporter Michelle's response to Sarah on the world stage:
That was the most amazing, most tremendous speech I have been witness to. I stood up in my living room several times and rah rah'd her. Rudy kicked butt too! I truly can see her as President. Train under McCain Ms. Palin and then I promise to vote for you when you run. Good Lord I have goosebumps!!!

My husband and father were amazed. My father said she needed to run for President! HA! Two southern, stereotypical men were exclaiming outloud at parts. It was kind of funny. My husband said "Good God, she is one of us! One of us is going to the White House!" I think he said it the best.

Michelle

Excerpts from Sarah's speech below:

God bless you all -- bloggers and other vistors. You played a role in bringing about a great night in American history. "Sarah, now you belong to America," a statement I had the honor of making to an important regular reader of my blog, Sarah Heath Palin. "She hit that one out of the park." (Wolf Britzer)"The most macho speech of the night was given by a woman." (Alex Castellanos)

I liked the Mt. Rushmore image they ran behind her at one point.

On her experience as a public servant: "I had the privilege of living most of my life in a small town. I was just your average hockey mom, and signed up for the PTA because I wanted to make my kids' public education better.

When I ran for city council, I didn't need focus groups and voter profiles because I knew those voters, and knew their families, too. Before I became governor of the great state of Alaska, I was mayor of my hometown. And since our opponents in this presidential election seem to look down on that experience, let me explain to them what the job involves.

I guess a small-town mayor is sort of like a 'community organizer,' except that you have actual responsibilities." On why she is going to Washington, D.C.: "I'm not a member of the permanent political establishment. And I've learned quickly, these past few days, that if you're not a member in good standing of the Washington elite, then some in the media consider a candidate unqualified for that reason alone.

But here's a little news flash for all those reporters and commentators: I'm not going to Washington to seek their good opinion - I'm going to Washington to serve the people of this country."

On energy policies that the McCain-Palin administration will implement: "Our opponents say, again and again, that drilling will not solve all of America's energy problems - as if we all didn't know that already. But the fact that drilling won't solve every problem is no excuse to do nothing at all. Starting in January, in a McCain-Palin administration, we're going to lay more pipelines...build more nuclear plants...create jobs with clean coal...and move forward on solar, wind, geothermal, and other alternative sources. We need American energy resources, brought to you by American ingenuity, and produced by American workers." On John McCain: "Here's how I look at the choice Americans face in this election. In politics, there are some candidates who use change to promote their careers. And then there are those, like John McCain, who use their careers to promote change."

Palin: Pit Bull, Hockey Mom

Dems Better Watch Out Sarah Palin is NO PUSHOVER
Bill Kristol tells this true story that he heard from a McCain staffer:A nervous young McCain staffer took it upon himself to explain to Palin the facts of life in a national campaign, the intense scrutiny she'd be under from the media, the viciousness of the assault that she'd be facing, etc.:
Palin: "Thanks for the warning. By the way, do you know what they say the difference is between a hockey mom and a Pit Bull?"

McCain aide: "No, Governor."

Palin: "A hockey mom wears lipstick."

In the end what may kill the democrats is overconfidence. Their attacks on Sarah Palin's kids will blow back in their faces, because Americans hate when politicians and the press beat up kids.Beyond that they are severely underestimating the GUTS of Sarah Palin.

What the Republicans missed about Sarah Palin then--and what the Democrats seem poised to miss now--is that she is a true political savant; a candidate with a knack for identifying the key gripes of the populace and packaging herself as the solution. That keen political nose has enabled her to routinely outperform her resume.

Palin is now in the "Big Time," and I guarantee that the "Big Time" will never be the same:

Can Mom Palin Be V-P?

On Sally Quinn's ignorant statement that a mother can't serve as V-P.
http://yidwithlid.blogspot.com/2008/09/sally-quinn-moms-cant-be-vice-president.html
I think it's important to get this out. When Sarah was pregnant (last March), she was asked if a pregnant woman could campaign for V-P, and she said she saw no reason why she couldn't. (Long before she got the nod.)

Yes, she is SuperWoman, but she is who she is. She has a tremendous support system in her extended family. All the kids, including the seven-year-old (Piper), are high achievers. She believes there is nothing significant -- aside from pro football -- that a man does that a woman can't do. That was supposed to the liberals' line, but as we see, they don't believe it.

One of the liberals' current lines is that she is shrill. That is a codeword for her having a female voice. "Inexperienced" means she's a woman.

Fred Thompson's line: "You don't get experience sitting on the Senate floor. And you don't get experience appearing on the Sunday talk shows.'

ON SARAH'S PREGNANT DAUGHTER, BRISTOL

Before the media revealed it, I know Sarah Palin's 17-year-old daughter was pregnant. As one of the tens of millions of American families that has experienced something similar, my initial feeling was not shock. Instead, it was one of love -- for the Palins, yes, but for all families.

In many ways the story about Sarah's daughter Bristol being pregnant is a non-story. Two of my daughters (out of five) were pregnant and had children before they got married (my grandchildren Frank and Michael). It's "America 2008."

I think the young woman (Bristol) who's pregnant is terrific. After the barn door closes, all you can say is: "What can I do to help?"

In a very short time, the American public has learned to love the Palin Family. They are reflective of all that's good and decent about our country. Let's wish them all well -- and let's get on with the business of winning this election.

I am pro-life. Yet I have friends, -- quite a few -- who are pro-choice. They are NOT evil people. I think their definition of life is deficient, but I the ones I know aren't morally carefless or "bad" individuals.

I am also pro-letting-Americans-make-their-own-choices, even ones that might involve life and death. In fact, that's something they will do with or without my permission. All is ask is that such choices be informed ones, thoughtful ones.

When Mike Huckabee, whom I like a lot, said that Jamie Spears's teen pregnancy was a "tragedy," I begged to differ. (Admittely, Mike immediately said that he was not one of those who would "line up" to "stand in judgment" of Britney's younger sister.

(More later on why I disagreed with Mike's use of the word "tragedy," one of the most misused terms in our world.) Please bookmark this site and return often.

Love and Prayers to Bristol Palin
